AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a car and caravan were set on fire in a suspected deliberate arson attack.
Firefighters from Hyndburn Station were called to the incident in Sands Road, Rishton, at 1.53pm this afternoon and used two hose reels to extinguish the flames.
Police were also called to the scene and diverted traffic whilst firefighters dealt with the fire.
Nobody was injured in the incident but a spokesman for the fire service said it was being treated as deliberate ignition.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
