BOXING Day's extreme weather has caused a 200-year-old pub to collapse, spraying debris onto a bridge.
Part of the former Waterside Inn, which sits on a bridge over the river in Summerseat, near Ramsbottom, succumbed to the elements today.
The River Irwell is raging past the partially-demolished building at high speed and water levels are said to be rising.
Chris Balmer tweeted: "Avoid #Summerseat nr #Ramsbottom. Waterside has collapsed. Walmersley Road closed at Park Farm. Irwell Vale flooded."
