A MAN who took part in a raid on an empty house had been offered easy money, Burnley magistrates heard.
Sean Cook, 34, of Spencer Street, Burnley, admitted burglary with intent to steal on March 11 and was given a 12-month conditional discharge with £60 costs.
He had been desperate for cash to put a bond on a property.
Police caught Cook and others pulling up flagstones at a property awaiting demolition. Cook had 32 previous convictions.
Richard Taylor, defending, said Cook had not been in trouble for two and a half years.
