A CORONATION Street star joined 800 fundraisers on a 10-mile trek across East Lancs yesterday.
Julie Hesmondhalgh, of Church, who plays Hayley Cropper, was among a group raising cash for local charities and good causes.
She pulled on her walking boots and and took part in the three-and-a-half hour walk.
Organisers led the crowd from the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Clayton-Le-Moors along the Leeds and Liverpool canal before completing the trek at Thompson Park in Burnley.
Fundraisers were hoping to smash the £65,000 raised last year.
The event was organised by Church and Oswaldtwistle Rotary Club.
Fred Pickering, a Rotary member and former president, said: "It's been a really successful day."
