DRUG addict Jason McCourt committed five crimes the day before he was jailed for 20 offences Burnley magistrates heard.
McCourt, 31, of no fixed address, but from Colne, admitted taking a vehicle without consent and asked for four offences to be considered. He was jailed for 90 days, to be served concurrently to 240 days he recently received.
The court was told the defendant "hot-wired" a wagon to steal it from a compound in Colne.
He then broke into a second vehicle.
McCourt, who has 42 previous convictions, told police he had to steal to fund his habit.
Richard Taylor, defending, said McCourt was due for release on July 12. He would have volunteered the five offences to police if he had recalled them.
