PENDLE Community Safety Partnership will be running the Local Area Grants Scheme again this year so that community safety projects can be set up in all parts of the borough.
Money is available to help groups across Pendle set up projects which will tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in their neighbourhoods.
To get funding, projects will have to show they are based on crime-reduction principles and target priority issues and crime hotspot areas, as well as making it clear how they will achieve results.
Applications will only be accepted from groups. All bids for funding must reach the Community Safety Partnership office by June 14.
For information on the grants scheme and to obtain an application form, call Pendle Council's Community Safety Team, on 01282 661660 or 661502.
