A DARWEN councillor has expressed his anger at the way a decision was made over a development in Cranberry Lane.
Blackburn with Darwen Council Planning and Highways Committee approved a proposal from Bloor Homes for 110 new homes last week on Kirkham Farm, between Cranberry Lane and Jack Keys Lodge, despite several complaints from residents and councillors.
Marsh House councillor Kevin Connor said: “At the very least, the committee should have deferred this decision and looked at it again.
“For every one of the Marsh House Labour councillors to still vote for that development to be approved when they complained about it is betrayal in the highest sense.”
