A union is still waiting to talk properly to bosses at a factory which is to close.
Barry Montgomery, of the GMB union, said he was waiting for management at Contrast Upholstery, Whalley Road, to contact him to discuss plans to move the firm's 66 staff to Preston.
Contrast, part of the Tetrad Group, blame HGV restrictions in the village, the age of the site and its remote location for the closure.
The company has offered to relocate all the workforce to Preston.
