AN ANONYMOUS reporting service for pupils, families and the community connected to Blackburn Central High School with Crosshill has been launched.
Whisper is available on the school website which allows people to send a confidential message to the school’s e-mail account where specially-trained staff will receive it.

A spokesman said: “The safety and well-being of our students is something that BCHS with Crosshill strives hard to ensure and are we continue to work hard to provide ways to help you tell us if you or your family have any school problems or worries such as bullying, peer issues, and schoolwork.
“Reporting issues is a very effective way to enable us to be able to deal with risks before they escalate into harm.
“We already have ways in which you can report to BCHS.
“That goes a long way in helping us to create the safe and reliable environment for your child that you expect our school to be.”
