A 32-YEAR-old care worker was sent to crown court charged with theft of thousands of pounds from residents of a home for people with learning disabilities where she worked.
Tracey Ann Edmondson, 32, who formerly lived in Moor Lane, Clitheroe, was remanded on bail by Blackburn magistrates for commital papers to be prepared.
She is charged with stealing £8,449 from Richard Perry, £7,304 from Peter Billiard, £5,000 from Bernard Coupe, £5,000 from Colin Ratcliffe, and £500 and £370 from other accounts.
Edmondson formerly worked at Mowbray Lodge, Blackburn, and was employed by Blackburn with Darwen Council as a senior community support worker.
