A CLOSED Ribble Valley pub is to be transformed into offices after plans were approved.
The Craven Heifer in Whalley Road, Clitheroe, was closed in 2013 and was recently sold for £175,000.
Applicant Castle View Developments applied for permission to Ribble Valley Borough Council to change the use of the pub into offices. A spokesman for the applicant said: “The proposal is a well-considered community facility in a sustainable location that would enhance the local economy by providing business premisses for small businesses.”
After residents aired their views, a final decision was made by the council on Friday.
