A 21-YEAR-OLD man walked into offices of a Blackburn firm, took keys off the desk and then drove off in the managing director’s Mercedes.
Blackburn magistrates heard the vehicle was recovered in Greater Manchester three days later.

Francis Cawley, of The Cray, Milnrow, pleaded guilty to burglary at Ion Upholstery, Emerald Street, and theft of a set of car keys, unauthorised taking of a car, driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He was jailed for 26 weeks and ordered to pay £180 criminal court charge and £80 victim surcharge on release.
Andy Robinson, prosecuting, said CCTV footage showed Cawley get out of a pickup after it pulled up outside the factory unit. He went into the reception and then the office where he picked up the keys before leaving.
