OPEN days are being held to encourage more youngsters to learn to swim The events are taking place at Haslingden and Marl Pits pools on Saturday, between 10am and 1pm.
Parents can take their children along for a free water test assessment - which will give the teachers an idea of water confidence, water skills and swimming ability.
Following this, the lesson co-ordinator will be able to advise parents of suitable lesson vacancies within the swimming programme.
Lessons run at both pools from 3.30pm Monday to Friday and from 9am on Saturday.
Each course lasts for 10 weeks and costs £35 and the next block starts on May 21. Contact the lesson co-ordinators at either Haslingden Pool on 01706 215883 or Marl Pits on 01706 226850.
