OFFICERS from Pennine Division's road policing unit are appealing for information after a 17-year-old cyclist from Colne was injured in a collision on Tuesday.
The boy was travelling along Barrowford Road from Colne towards Nelson and Colne College at 12.10pm.
He overtook a parked car on his nearside and was hit from the rear by a gold Volkswagen Polo, or similar vehicle, driven by a white man, possibly in his 40s, wearing a cream coloured top.
PC Mick Raw said: "We are appealing for the driver himself to come forward along with anyone else who may have seen this collision."
Anyone with any information should call 472542.
