TWO men with only £1.50 between them went into Asda for a drink - literally.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Christopher Goddard and Andrew Jackson helped themse-lves to a bottle of beer, drank it and put the can back on the shelf.
They then drank a small bottle of wine before repl-acing that empty as well.
Goddard, 42, and Jackson, 40, both of St Peter Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to shoplifting.
They were each given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £1.38 compensation.
