A NIGHT of Northern Soul and Motown music raised not only temperatures on the dance floor, but also £630 for charity.
The event, at Darwen Golf Club, was organised by DJ Des Jones in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Des, 51, who now lives in Ramsbottom, said: "The support we had was fantastic.
"I want to thank people for raising all that money.
"We raised £630 on the night for Macmillan Cancer Support and more than 150 people attended."
After his latest success, Des is aiming to hold another event for the charity in Darwen in September, but has yet to set a date.
