THE National Union of Teachers in East Lancashire has called for governors at a Blackburn school to ‘work out differences’ with the headteacher.
Since the start of term, six foundation governors have resigned at St Paul’s RC Primary School in the town following disagreements with Catherine Monaghan.

Simon Jones, who represents the union in the region, said: “It’s always better to stay in post and try to resolve the issues in the interests of the staff and students.”
