A 24-YEAR-OLD man struggling to accept the end of a relationship assaulted his ex during a second row with her on the same day.
Blackburn magistrates heard Jake Robert Doran tried to bite Leanne Duckworth before he was thrown out by a friend who she had called for help.

Doran, of Ivinson Road, Darwen, admitted assaulting Miss Duckworth and damaging a plate belonging to her. He was bailed for a pre-sentence report.
Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said Doran had come round to Miss Duckworth’s home in an intoxicated state at 11am. During a row, she sent a text message to a male friend to come and remove him and he grabbed her arm and tried to bite her.
Doran was thrown out but came back again in the afternoon.
Graeme Parkinson, defending, said his client had had great difficulty accepting the end of the relationship.
