SAFETY cameras at Darwen train station will go live once a final connection has been made, said Blackburn with Darwen Council.
The council said they are ready for the system to start but are waiting on the company arranging the installation to complete a connection to enable the system.
No reason has been given for the delay but the council say an announcement will be made once the system is ready.
The cameras covering the platforms and access ways will be linked 24 hours a day to Greenbank police station.
The Lancashire Telegraph previously reported how users of the station had been subject to intimidation.
