Police investigating the death of a pedestrian killed on the M66 motorway are appealing for information about his final movements.
Brett Lee Wright, 22, was in collision with a HGV travelling on the M66 southbound carriageway at 8.20pm on Thursday April 2007 12.
He was on foot at the time of the collision, which came after he had been to a party in Ramsbottom.
Brett was taken to Fairfield General Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead at 1.44pm on Sunday 15 April 2007.
Before the collision, Brett had been to the party at the Red Hall Hotel, A56 Manchester Road, Ramsbottom, Bury.
He had left the party at around 8pm.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw Brett in the 20 minutes between him leaving the party and the collision.
It is believed he walked along the A56 towards the motorway bridge that crosses the M66.
