Firemen had to remove a brick from a wall after a pet cat crawled into a cavity and became stuck.
The crew were called to a house in Ashleigh Street on Saturday evening after the animal's worried owners heard mewing noises coming from behind a cavity wall. They had left their loft access open and the animal had managed to crawl into the space through a hole where another brick was missing. It had then become wedged half way along the wall.
It took firefighters 45 minutes to release the pet, which was unharmed by the incident.
