Riley’s of Crawshawbooth has been ‘meating’ expectations of locals and fans for more than 30 years – serving up belting bangers and sensational steaks.

Now the 12 members of staff are keeping their fingers crossed for another trophy after being named as one of the three finalists in the Northern England section of the Butcher’s Shop of the Year competition.
Riley’s will take on Coates from County Durham and Chester’s EW Edge & Son for the regional crown, with the winner going on to compete for the national title.
Boss Geoff Riley said: “We have been nominated for the regional title six years running and have won it once. It’s always a great honour.”
Riley’s hope to be celebrating at an awards dinner in Leeds on November 12.
