A Clitheroe farmer who is challenging plans to burn animal waste at a cement works next to her farm must wait for the Court of Appeal verdict on her challenge.
After a second day of legal argument in the case, the court reserved judgment and will give their ruling in writing later.
Mary Horner, of Higher Heights Farm, Bolton-by-Bowland claims it will blight her home, contaminate land and could force her to have her cattle slaughtered.
In July 2005 she lost a High Court battle to quash planning permission given to Castle Cement to build machinery to burn animal waste derived fuel' at its Ribblesdale Cement Works, Clitheroe.
Later in the High Court Mr Justice Ouseley backed the council's stance and it is that decision Mrs Horner is now appealing against.
