A PUB in Great Harwood has won a Certificate of Excellence for pulling perfect pints.
The Victoria Hotel, in St John's Street, was awarded the Cask Marque certificate after passing a surprise tasting test in February.
The ale was tested for temperature, taste, head and smell by Cask Marque, an independent body which recognises excellence in the service of cask ale.
Licensee Jean Baxter, 62, has previously been awarded the Campaign for Real Ale's "most improved pub" prize in 2004 and the North West Pub of the Year accolade from the beer-lovers' group in 2006.
