A WOMAN told a jury of her "terror" after she was allegedly sexually attacked by a drunken man when she was a child.
The woman said that she was left in tears after she was molested twice by Frederick Suthers, who used to live in Rawtenstall.
She said: "I can remember being frightened and really not knowing what to do.
"I can remember crying about it, sobbing about it later on."
Suthers, now 68, and living at Lodore Road, Blackpool, is also alleged to have abused a boy.
Suthers, then living at Ash Grove, Rawtenstall, and a former British Aerospace worker, denies three counts of indecent assault, alleged to have taken place between January 1985 and October 1990.
Joe Boyd, prosecuting, said the alleged victim complained to the police in November 2005.
When Suthers, whose son John died in a road smash last October, was arrested, he denied anything sexual had ever taken place with the girl. Mr Boyd said the man who alleged the defendant indecently assaulted him as a boy claimed he was drunk and committed a sex act on him.
