A QUIZ night organised by Burnley and District Quiz League has raised over £150 for Pendleside Hospice.
The quiz, the brainchild of Mr Mike Smith, a member of Burnley and District Quiz League, took place on Wednesday at the 110 Club in Burnley and 10 teams battled it out to be crowned the quiz champions.
As well as seven rounds the quizzers also took part in stand-up bingo, a raffle and an individual quiz accumulator.
Proceeds from the event will help Pendleside Hospice provide care to local people suffering from cancer and other life limiting illnesses. The cost of providing care increases year on year in response to demand for services.
