ACCOUNTS have now been filed for the charitable trust of the millionaire backer of Darwen's controversial academy.
The Charity Commission said The Rodney Aldridge Charitable Trust, which will put £2m into the £34m academy, had failed to file the information since it was set up in February 2004.
The accounts for 2004-05 were due in August 2005, and those for the following financial year in July 2006.
At the beginning of the month the trust was given two weeks to file the accounts and has now complied.
Rodney Aldridge, the former boss of Capita, which provides some key services for Blackburn with Darwen Council, said the failure to file the accounts was an oversight.
