PARENTS, carers and residents are invited to find out more about a new children's centre planned for Ramsbottom.
A consultation will take place today at Bury Town Hall's Elizabethan Suite to discuss the eight children's centres planned for the borough.
During the event from 10am to 4pm, anyone who is interested will get the chance to contribute to plans and to view the outline build sketches.
There are currently only three such centres in Bury.
Hazel Birtles from Bury's children's services said: "The idea of the event is to allow parents and carers to have a real say in the services and facilities that the centres will provide.
"It is important to find out what they feel is needed."
