A TEENAGER is cursing her bad luck after losing a £3,250 diamond ring - on Friday 13.

And Naomi Fischer, of Whalley Road, Wilpshire, has offered a £500 reward for the return of the Tiffany ring which was an 18th birthday present from her parents last May.

The 18 year-old last saw the £3,250 ring in place on her right hand on Friday night when she went out with a friend in Blackburn.

The ex-Westholme Upper School pupil went into the Postal Order, Darwen Street, at 8pm and only realised the ring was missing when she returned home in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Naomi had had a few drinks and does not know what happened to it.

She said: "I lost it on Friday the 13th. I didn't used to be superstitious but now I am.

"It was my worse night out ever.

"I went to take my watch off to go to bed and thought Oh my God where has it gone?' She reported the matter to the police, but officers said no one had handed the ring in.

She has also contacted the Postal Order and a taxi firm without any success.

Naomi, who is on a gap year and plans to go to university in September, is offering £500 for the return of the ring.

She said: "I reported it to the police but no one has handed it in.

"The ring can't be enlarged because of the two bands with diamonds all the way round.

"If anyone tries to sell it they probably won't get more than £500 for it although it's worth more than £3,000.

"So I want to offer £500 if anyone can get it back to me.

"If any one has it please give it back to me. I am not bothered who has it as long as I get it back."

The Tiffany ring is a platinum ring with two bands and diamonds set around the bands.
