A 40-year-old man subject to a drink-related Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) was arrested after being found in a bar in the early hours of the morning.
Blackburn magistrates heard that James Lee had gone to the Cellar Bar looking for his sister so he could get a key to get into her house.
Basharat Ditta, defending, told the court there was no suggestion that Lee had been making a nuisance of himself or committing any offence other than breaching his ASBO.
"Because of the order, if he goes into a pub he is committing a criminal offence" said Mr Ditta.
Lee, of New Bank Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to breach of the order. He was remanded on bail until May 2 after the magistrates heard a pre-sentence report had already been requested for that date for another breach of the order.
