PRAISE has been rolling in for talented Nelson and Colne College students for their approach to a marketing project set by Marsden Building Society.
Earlier this year, photography and graphic design students were asked to produce a memorable campaign for Marsden’s latest savings products.
The company was looking for something fresh, unique and modern that could be used throughout the Marsden branch network.
Students then presented their ideas to representatives from the building society and winners were announced at the recent VIP preview of the Art and Design End of Year Show.
The successful team, who won graphics tablets, were Shannon Barrett, Abigail Brown, Alex Hunt and Nikki Savage for their campaign 'When the storms of life come, adjust your sails'.
Level Three art and design extended diploma student Shannon, 18, from Nelson, said: “This has been a great opportunity for us to get our names out into the community.
"We had experience of presenting our work to Marsden Building Society, and it was good we were able to receive feedback from them."
