A WOMAN fought off a man who attacked her as she walked home from a pub.
The 29-year-old left the Forts Arms in Clayton-le-Moors at 1.30am on Sunday and was walking along Pickup Street when she was grabbed from behind.
She was knocked to the floor, sustaining a number of minor cuts and bruises.
Her attacker began to touch her legs in an attempt to pull down her jeans.
The woman was able to fight him off and ran to her home before calling police.
The offender was described as white, in his early twenties.
