The floor of an unoccupied house in Grey Street, Burnley, was left damaged by a fire believed to have been deliberately started.
Firefighters from Burnley attended the scene at 12.10pm yesterday to put out the blaze which was started by burning material being pushed through the letterbox.
Floorboards were burned and there was smoke damage too.
