THE deadline for this year’s Lancashire Telegraph School Awards is this Friday.
The best pupils, staff, teachers and support staff can be nominated. The awards celebrate good work and dedication in East Lancashire schools, and highlight innovation and best practice. This year, we seek nominations for 11 categories, with Special School Pupil of the Year a new award for 2015. Entries are invited from teachers, parents, governors, pupils and anyone with knowledge of a school.
All schools are welcome to enter but must be based in the boroughs of Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale or Chorley. Individuals or institutions can enter more than one category – make it clear on the entry form. Last date to receive entries is Friday, May 22. Email educationawards@nqnw.co.uk or post to Lancashire Telegraph Schools Awards, Editorial, Newspaper House, High Street, Blackburn, Lancashire BB1 1HT.
