A TEENAGER from Blackburn arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism yesterday remained in police custody for questioning.

The 14-year-old was arrested on April 2 on suspicion of preparing for an act of terrorism under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
On Saturday 18 April 2015, he was further arrested on the new alleged offences.
During the investigation, officers from North West Counter Terrorism Unit uncovered communication between a teen in Blackburn and a man in Australia.
