DANIEL Alderson, 29, of Lancaster Drive, Padiham, has been banned from driving for 39 months by Pennine magistrates after he admitted to a charge of drink driving in St John's Road on March 20 in a Vauxhall Astra.
Magistrates heard that Alderson, who was also convicted of having no insurance, gave a breathlyser reading of 72 mg, just over twice the legal limit. He was also fined £150 with £85 court costs. He was also in breach of a three-year conditional discharge.
