A ‘GROW Your Own Vegetables and Herbs’ workshop is due to be staged at Turton Tower on Saturday, April 25.
The event will take place from 10am to 3.30pm and is aimed at beginners.
A spokesman said: "Growing your own herbs and vegetables is a tasty and rewarding activity.
"Everyone can get growing, however small their garden, and it’s a great outdoor project to get children involved in.
"Growing tasty vegetables is not difficult if you understand what your plants need and it’s a great way to get some fresh air and exercise.
"You can save money and get your friends and family involved as well.

The fee for the workshop is £45.00, which includes all materials, refreshments and a lovely lunch from the Tower’s Victorian Tea Room.
