LAUREN'S Place has called on more people in Hyndburn to get involved.
The mental healthy charity, set up by the friends and family of Accrington's 17-year-old Lauren Johnson, who died after jumping from the Arndale Centre last year, said: "All of us at Lauren's Place would like to thank you all for your support on our journey and would love even more of you to become actively involved.
"We need to think of a way to mark Lauren's anniversary in June in a meaningful way, and we would love to hear suggestions of a way we can make an impact doing this."
Lauren, who lived in Blackburn Road, Oswaldtwistle, had been admitted to hospital several times after previous attempts to kill herself after being 'broken' by bullies, her devastated mum Dawn told an inquest last year.
The student, who worked at Accrington store C'Quinz, was discharged from hospital shortly before her death and had left a note to her family on her laptop.
