FOOTBALL fans from around the world will be watching Rovers take on Liverpool for a place in the FA Cup semi-final tonight.

But perhaps none will be as desperate for a home win as 10-year-old Blackburn schoolgirl and Rovers season ticket holder Caitlin Dysart.

Because after winning a competition, the St Peter's Roman Catholic Primary School student will lead her heroes out on to the hallowed Wembley turf next weekend if they manage to see off their stuttering Premier League competitors at Ewood Park tonight.

The delighted youngster's mum, kitchen assistant Karen, 39, said: "The FA ran a competition that none of us knew anything about.

"Caitlyn was at the Stoke game with her grandma, Kath Jackson, and her name appeared on the big screen at half time.

"They were bewildered so they went to the club shop and found out that, because she had a ticket, she was automatically in a prize draw — and she had won."

Caitlyn, who lives in Parklands Way, Livesey, with her mum, dad Stuart, 46, and little sister Hollie, seven, will be sat in her usual seat in the Blackburn End Stand tonight.

The family will travel to London before next Sunday's semi-final tie against Aston Villa — even if Rovers lose.

Karen said: "If Rovers go through she will go out with them, but if not she will go out with Liverpool.

"My mum is originally from Liverpool and we have supporters in the family so it would still be good."

Footie mad Caitlyn has been a regular at Ewood Park since she was just three-months-old, and was 'shocked' when she found out she could be leading out Rovers in front of thousands of fans on Sunday, April 19.

Karen said: "She should have been born a boy to be honest. We asked what she wanted for Christmas and she said football nets. She got them!"
