DRUG dealers working in and around Blackburn's Shadsworth estate are being targeted by police.
Officers have launched the crackdown after receiving complaints from residents about suspicious behaviour at a recent Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting.
As well as increasing beat patrols in the area, officers are appealing for anyone with information to contact them directly.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Drug dealing is a serious crime and will not be tolerated.
"We urge anyone with information to contact us."
Bike thefts and motorbike nuisance was also raised as a problem by residents.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or the Shadsworth neighbourhood policing team direct on 01254 676908.
