A TASTE of a Victorian classroom left youngsters at a Whalley school happy to return to 21st century lessons.
Year 1 pupils at Oakhill College have been learning about the era and visited Wigan Pier to experience the 1800s first hand.

A spokesman for the Wiswell Lane school said: "They found that it was very strict - and they much preferred Oakhill."
