A FORMER Rossendale school which is being transformed into luxury apartments will open its doors for the first time this weekend (3rd and 4th).
Originally a Victorian mansion house and latterly used as a school, Lea Bank in Rawtenstall is being converted into 10 apartments as part of an exclusive residential development by the Hurstwood Group.
Three of the apartments are now complete - including two penthouses with private rooftop gardens - and will go on show to the public from Saturday.
The £12million Lea Bank Country Estate comprises the 10 apartments in the old mansion house, four new family homes, two lodges and two stable-house conversions, making 18 homes in total.
