It isn't surprising for a Leeds indie band to sound like The Cribs and be championed by The Kaiser Chiefs.
What is noteworthy is the energy of this galumphing floor-filler - it might be predictable but it is damn good fun.
If their stage show is half as vigorous as this single then The Pigeons could be one of the must-see acts of the year.
