LABOUR’S Candidate in Rossendale and Darwen, Will Straw, has met with the Federation of Small Businesses to discuss concerns over crime in Darwen.
Mr Straw will also be bringing Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw to Darwen to highlight the issue.

Will Straw said: “I know that crime is a growing concern for businesses in Darwen.
“A number of different shop holders have raised it with me recently and I have in turn discussed this with the police.
“The Federation of Small Businesses are asking election candidates to call on Police and Crime Commissioners to prioritise business crime in their plans.
“It is critical that business owners feel safe in their own shops and do not fear the damage and costs associated with business crime.”
