THE search to find talented unsigned musicians and singers in East Lancashire is under way.

The finale will be held at King George’s Hall in March.

The top prize winners will receive £1,000 worth of Reidys vouchers, a single recording opportunity, a music video worth £1,000 and main stage slots at various festivals including Darwen Live and Cloudspotting.

Dale Gardner, marketing manager at Reidys Home Of Music said: “We’re really proud of what the previous competitions have achieved over the past couple of years, with artists being scouted by Simon Cowell’s global label SYCO, and going on to support huge names like Judas Priest and James Blunt.

“We’re stepping it up a level with the new Reidys Exposure format. There are over £4,000 worth of prizes to go for but it’s all about getting new, undiscovered music out there for people to enjoy, which is what any artist wants.”
