RESIDENTS in Sabden have been advised that charges for using the village's car park will come into force the week beginning Monday, February 5.
Anyone using the car park on a regular basis can purchase a 12-month permit for £45.
The permits entitle users to park for an unlimited period of time any day of the week on any of the borough's long-stay car parks, Sabden included.
Alternatively, pay-and-display tickets ranging from 30p an hour to £1.40 for eight hours can be purchased.
Vehicles not displaying a valid permit or pay-and-display ticket risk receiving penalty notices of £60, or £30 if paid within 14 days.
