SPORT and the arts will be coming together in Burnley Youth Theatre's new community arts project for young people.
The research project investigates the barriers and discriminations young people face in terms of accessing physical activity in the area and will allow young people to make suggestions as to how they may be encouraged to take part.
Year 9 pupils from Burnley's secondary schools will watch the performance and will be able to speak up and change the outcome of the play, leading the characters to more satisfactory conclusions.
Professional director Alice Bartlett, takes the artistic lead on the project with a cast of 16-20-year-olds not currently in employment, education or training.
