LAMMACK Primary School, Lammack Road, Blackburn, said farewell to one of its most popular teachers after 34 years' service.
Catherine Webber joined the school straight after finishing her training and has decided to retire after a career spanning four decades.
Head teacher Mary Lewis said: "Mrs Webber has been an inspiration to numerous children and staff and has been particularly good at teaching music and poetry.
"She will be very much missed."
