A PUB which has been closed for ten years is to re-open next month - and the new owner wants people to help him with a display of the building's history.
Jim Barnes, 56, has spent the last three years single-handedly restoring the Queen's Hotel, Church Road, Church.
The inn will reopen for the first weekend in February and Jim hopes the pub's former customers will come back to drink and share their memories.
Jim said: "I know that many wedding receptions were held in the upstairs rooms at the pub.
"It would be brilliant to hear from anyone who celebrated their marriage on the premises, and to put some of their pictures on display.
"There also used to be a stage - I'd like to here from people who have perfromed in the Queen's Hotel or been to shows here?
"What sort of events were put on? Any memorabilia would be brilliant."
