Circus set to roll into Todmorden park
BILLY Smart’s Circus is bringing a Big Top to Todmorden’s Centre Vale Park for four days from Thursday, May 8.
His grand-daughter Yasmine Smart is now behind the two-hour show, including daredevil Australian trapeze artists the Flying Aces.
The 10-strong Assauldin Troupe, from Russia, who have appeared with Barnum and Bailey Circus, are also on the bill.
There will also be The Extreme Brothers, from Romania, Italian clown Jonny Bogino, Argentinian bolas drummer Gabriel Carmona and French footjuggler Germaine Delbosq.
Two shows a day are planned.
